2011. The latest Jon Macey solo CD, an epic song showcase, recorded mostly live with a semi-acoustic ensemble. Intention opens new doors and reveals new sides of Macey. His best singing ever. Includes the You Tube hit Trapped (By My Own Creation).
FOX PASS - INTEMPOREL
2010. The 2nd Fox Pass CD, purposefully designed in the model of the classic double LP, divided into 4 "sides" each grouped musically and thematically. Contains a number of early FP songs as well as newly composed tunes. Recorded with an organic live band sound; this is what FP sounds like. Includes Hurry Cherie, Front Page Girl, Cool Dreamer and many other fan favorites.
JON MACEY & STEVE GILLIGAN - EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN
2007. An artistic tribute to old-time country duos like The Louvin Brothers, The Everly Brothers, The Delmores, with a wink to the Flying Burrito Brothers (who were actually doing the same thing). Very stripped down sound emphasizing mostly mandolin/acoustic guitar arrangements and close two part harmony. Added attraction is subtle percussion by Barry Marshall.
FOX PASS - FOX PASS
2005. After reuniting, a "debut" Fox Pass album, having never released one in the 1970s. The sound is jangly guitars and loads of 2 and 3 part harmonies. A cleaner sound than the live band but contains many key songs like Hit or Miss and Wanda.
JON MACEY - ACTUALITY IN PROCESS
2003. Jon Macey's 1st solo CD, recorded in his own studio. Hypnotic pop with a mystical twist. Layers of philosophical insights and putting things in order, utilizing many great local musicians and singers. An iconoclast manifesto. Key songs include Turn You Round, True Lost Soul, Kaileigh and Junk Mail.
MACEY'S PARADE - TOO MUCH PERSPECTIVE
